Submit for the Godot Wild Jam #92! And also our Game Engineering course of TH Mannheim.
Topic "Brewing" with a strong focus on 2 of 3 Wildcards:
- Fuel: Finit Resource that can be refiled
- Berry so much: Have fruit in your game
Story
It's the 1920s. Prohibition is in full swing. And you? You're just a humble farmer trying to make an honest living selling... juice. Totally just juice.
Nothing else in those barrels... nothing.
Harvest grapes
and apples
from your families farm, press them into juice, and if the mood strikes — maybe "BREW" something a little stronger.
Then load up the truck and hit the road to sell your "produce" at Redwater City.
The only problem? The road has opinions about your cargo.
Every day you must choose your route.
Outsell your rival over 5 days to win.
Handcrafted with love
Every pixel, every frame of animation, every sprite and background in Bootleg Juice & Co. was our (guphy / erxic19) first experience in Pixelart, but was made from scratch. No asset packs - just a lot of questionable decisions made at 3am.
MUSIC by - Helen Kane - I Wanna be Loved by You
FONTS by Jayvee Enaguas - HarvettFox96
One last thing
Don't forget to make Fuel
, or else... you have to walk into the forest. Seriously.

Great game! I love the art style, I was about to win but then the family stole 5 wine bottles from me
The best game I've seen so far!! It's so much fun to play and very creative. Great artstyle as well! Some day I'll make it down the road on foot... :D
Cool game and very nice artstyle!
We put some care into making Redwater feel… worth the risk. ;)
I'm not from the jam, but I fell in love with this game from first sight, its core ide, its storyline, the decisions, the music and the graphics are made perfecly and combined into this piece of art. I can say there is some unsatsifying aspects, but I understand that they should be left for the realism of it.
Brilliant game, thats it :D
Didn’t think folks outside the "business" would take to it this quickly, but I’m glad you did. Means the work, the long nights, the rough edges, it all came together the way it should.
And yeah… not everything’s meant to feel comfortable out here. Some things are a little unsatisfying on purpose. That’s just how the road treats you.
But tell us more...!
